It's back to class for local students


Students in the Almanac area go back to school either this week or next.

School began on Wednesday, Aug. 20 in the Menlo Park City School District schools (Laurel, Encinal, Oak Knoll and Hillview schools) and on Thursday, Aug. 21 in Las Lomitas Elementary School District (Las Lomitas and La Entrada schools).

It begins Monday, Aug.25, in Portola Valley School District (Corte Madera and Ormondale schools) and on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at Woodside Elementary.

Woodside High School and Menlo Atherton High School began Tuesday, Aug. 19.

well, there are some really good schools, no doubt. these families and people need to be able to afford the cost of living. is it really worth reporting that school is back in session? where is there more news than what this indicates?
