  1. We arrived mearly seconds after the accident as the red car was about 4 cars or so ahead of us. But we did not actually see the accident. I was 1 of 4 people that first opened the door to the red and kept the driver talking. He was in severed shock then became super restless and wanted desperately to get out of the car. We did not touch him. Me and another male witness kept him talking and aler. He appeared to have suffered major injuries. I checked on the driver in the white van and he was in complete shock and did not speak at all, but did not appear to have any visible injuries. He had his phone on his lap. I went to intersection and cleared debris and stayed on the scene until the first cop arrived, at which point I left. A lady and my husband (who stayed in the car) called 911. I am really worried and hope the driver in the red car pulls thru. My heart goes to him and his family.

  2. That’s the first thing I thought when I came through at 12:00 pm, distracted driving – at a high rate of speed – no braking marks on the road. The little red car went completely under the van and the front end was crunched up the the passenger compartment. They had the road blocked off at University.
