Jesse Quirion, who has been filling in as interim public works director for Menlo Park for about six months, has now been appointed to the permanent position, the city announced on Monday, Dec. 22.
He stepped into the new role on June 20 after Chip Taylor left to become public works director in Millbrae. Hired as the transportation manager in 2013, Mr. Quirion has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master’s in public administration from Nova Southeastern University.
