Tonight: Menlo Gateway, capital improvements before Planning Commission

An update on Menlo Gateway and the city's list of capital improvement projects for the next five years are on the agenda for Monday's (Jan. 12) Menlo Park Planning Commission meeting.

Developer David Bohannon has said that he has a partner to help construct a luxury hotel at the Menlo Gateway site, located on 16 acres along Independence and Constitution drives.

The commission on Dec. 15 identified its priorities for capital improvements, including a feasibility study of downtown parking structures and improvements to the downtown/El Camino Real specific plan. Tonight the commissioners will have the opportunity to finalize their recommendations.

Tonight's meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at the Civic Center at 701 Laurel St. Review the complete agenda online. The meeting will be streamed live through the city's website.
