Thursday deadline to apply for high school district board seat

With the recent retirement of Olivia Martinez from the board of the Sequoia Union High School District, the board is seeking an interim board member to fill in during the nine months remaining in Ms. Martinez's four-year term.

Applicants have until Thursday, March 5, to submit an application.

The board has scheduled candidate interviews in open session before the public at a special board meeting on Wednesday, March 11. The board meets at the district office at 480 James Ave. in Redwood City.

Questions may be directed to Superintendent James Lianides at (650) 369-1411, ext. 22213, or by e-mail to jlianides@seq.org.
