Marshall Burke, assistant professor of environmental science at Stanford University, will give a talk on the social and economic impact of climate change at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at SRI International in Menlo Park.
The 90-minute talk and discussion, organized by Cafe Scientifique Silicon Valley, will be held in the International Building at Middlefield Road and Ringwood Avenue.
Mr. Burke has worked as program manager for the program on food security and the environment and as as a research associate for the Center on Environmental Science, both at Stanford University.
Cafe Scientifique Silicon Valley holds informal gatherings intended to bring topical science to the community. All meetings are free and open to the public.
