April 1 Kepler's event: Barney Frank on 'Life in Politics'

Barney Frank, who served in the House of Representatives for 32 years, will talk about his memoir, "Frank: A Life in Politics from the Great Society to Same-Sex Marriage," at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at the Fox Theatre, 2215 Broadway St. in Redwood City.

Kepler's bookstore is sponsoring the event. The book's publisher says the memoir tells how a disheveled, intellectually combative gay Jew became a powerful and effective member of Congress.
