Police report officer-involved shooting in Menlo Park

 

Menlo Park police reported at 6:54 p.m. that they are working on an officer-involved shooting in the business park in the area of 1300 Willow Road in Menlo Park.

Newark and Fremont police officers were pursuing a suspect vehicle over the Dumbarton Bridge for a crime that took place in their jurisdiction, said police spokesperson Nicole Acker.

The suspect vehicle went westbound, turning in the business park in the 1300 block of Willow Road, she said.

Shots were fired at the pursuing officers in that area, police said. The officers were uninjured.

Two suspects have been detained. One suspect is still being sought.

Officers have set up a perimeter looking for the third suspect.
