Menlo boys wrap up PAL lacrosse title with win over SHP

 

Employing a balanced attack and strong defense, the Menlo School boys beat host Sacred Heart Prep, 8-3, on Thursday to claim the regular-season lacrosse title in the Peninsula Athletic League.

The Knights finished 10-0 in league (13-5 overall) and dropped the Gators to 8-2 in league (14-5 overall). Menlo won the first meeting between the rivals, 13-7, in March. The teams now will play in the PAL Tournament, which begins Tuesday.
