Tonight: City manager contract, budget go before Menlo Park council

 

Tonight's meeting of the Menlo Park City Council will be a busy one. The June 2 agenda includes:

■ A new contract for City Manager Alex McIntyre that includes a 9 percent base salary raise.

■ A public hearing on the city's budget and capital improvement plans for fiscal year 2015-16.

■ Designs for expanding outdoor dining along Santa Cruz Avenue.

■ Updates on the installation of sidewalks along Santa Cruz Avenue and on the police department's body camera policy.

Tuesday's meeting starts at 6 p.m. with a closed session for labor negotiations and Mr. McIntyre's contract, which is also on the consent calendar. The regular meeting follows at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at the Civic Center at 701 Laurel St. The meeting will be streamed live online.
