Menlo Park offers free water buckets

 

Taking a shower during a drought can lead to questions about how the water swirling down the drain could be put to better use. The city of Menlo Park can help. Free 5-gallon buckets are available to residents who call 330-6720. The buckets are also given out at annual events such as the "state of the city" speech and block party.
