Service on July Fourth for Mark Patrick Hanley, Menlo Park

 

A memorial service will be held on July Fourth for Mark Patrick Hanley of Menlo Park, who died June 18 after a long battle with cancer. He was 52.

The service will start at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Chapel, 600 Colorado Ave. in Palo Alto.

Born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, Mark was 3 years old when his family moved to Southern California. He attended Laguna Beach High School, where he graduated magna cum laude. He earned a bachelor or arts degree at UCLA, where he was a member of the varsity debate team and Theta Xi Fraternity.

He worked in the investment banking industry, becoming an equity partner at Laguna Partners LLC and, most recently, managing director at Alpha Strategies Inc.
