Tonight: Hot Rods Band plays classic rock 'n' roll in Menlo Park

 

The Hot Rods Band will play classic rock 'n' roll from the 1950s and 1960s at 6:30 p.m. tonight (July 15) in Fremont Park, located on Santa Cruz Avenue and University Drive in downtown Menlo Park.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and blankets.

The free 90-minute performance is part of the city's Wednesday night summer concert in the park series that runs through Aug. 12.

On deck for future concerts in the park are Dave Correa and Cascada, playing Latin music, July 22; Tom Rigney and Flambeau, playing Cajun, zydeco and blues, July 29; Tia Carroll, playing blues, Aug. 5; and Con Brio, playing R&B, soul and funk, Aug. 12.
