Wednesday: Latin guitar fusion band performs in Menlo Park

 

David Correa and Cascada, a Latin guitar world fusion band, will play at a concert in the park on Wednesday, July 22, in downtown Menlo Park. The free city-sponsored performance runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fremont Park, located at Santa Cruz Avenue and University Drive.

People are invited to bring a picnic blanket and dinner to these concerts, which run each Wednesday at the same time and location through Aug. 12. Future performers are: Tom Rigney and Flambeau, playing Cajun, zydeco and blues, July 29; Tia Carroll, playing blues, Aug. 5; and Con Brio, playing R&B, soul and funk, Aug. 12.
