Public invited to comment on proposed firefighters' contract

 

The public is invited to comment on a four-year tentative agreement between the Menlo Park Fire Protection District and its firefighters that is posted on the district's website.

The public review and comment period is open until Aug. 25, when the district's governing board plans to meet to decide whether to approve the agreement.

Firefighters have been without a contract since 2008.

Residents can request a copy of the agreement by calling the clerk of the board at (650) 688-8400.
