Woodside fire district: What you should avoid during heat wave

 

The Woodside Fire Protection District issued an alert today urging residents to take extra caution during the heat wave.

"Outdoor & construction activities, weed whackers, chain saws, welding, and anything that can create a spark is discouraged during the hottest part of the day," Fire Marshal Denise Enea said in the altert. "Ask your contractor/landscaper to play it safe and follow these fire safety precautions as well."
