Tuesday: Kiwanis talk on plan for Stanford plaza in Menlo Park

 

Lucy Wicks, associate director of community relations at Stanford University, will give a talk on Tuesday, Aug. 25, on "The Planned Stanford Plaza at 500 El Camino Real" in Menlo Park.

The talk will be given at the meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Menlo Park, which meets each Tuesday from noon to 1:15 p.m. at Allied Arts Guild, 75 Arbor Road in Menlo Park.

Ms. Wicks acts as a liaison between Stanford University and community-based organizations, government officials, businesses and individuals located in and around Stanford's main campus and the new Stanford in Redwood City project area.

Last year the Menlo Park Kiwanis Club gave $90,000 in support of community service projects and scholarships for Menlo-Atherton High School graduates.
