Left Bank chefs at Filoli 'farm to table' dinner

 

The second annual farm-to-table outdoor dinner at the Filoli estate in Woodside is set for Thursday, Sept. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. Guest chefs will be from the Left Bank restaurant in Menlo Park.

At this Filoli fundraiser, tables are set in the garden for families and friends to share from platters of chef-prepared food made fresh from local sources. There will be music, and chefs will talk about their food sources and preparation methods.

The emphasis will be on foods in season prepared simply, and will include appetizers and deserts. The wine will be paired with the meal.

Go to filoli.org/farm-to-table to see the menu. Tickets are $150, non-refundable, cannot be exchanged, and must be purchased before noon Thursday, Sept. 17. Parking is free.

Evenings in Woodside can be chilly, so a wrap is recommended. The gardens and house will not be open.
