The only thing scary is how cute they are

By Scott Delucchi, Peninsula Humane Society

We're using that tagline for our current black cat and kitten promotion. The Peninsula Humane Society is waiving fees for all black cats and kittens through Nov. 1.

Of course, we're still interviewing potential adopters and need to feel good about the placements. The goal is to make our black cats lucky!

Blueberry is one of them. She's a 1-year-old, medium-sized, beauty with a short, black coat. She's a very calm, quiet, gentle and sweet girl who loves being petted and held.

Blueberry can be a bit on the cautious side when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly with a few chin scratches.

She has her playful side and enjoys batting at fun, wiggly toys like feathers. Blueberry gets along well with the other cats in her condo, but if you have children or resident pets, be sure to speak with an adoption counselor to make sure she'd be a good match.
