Pet of the week: Neo

This week's featured pet, Neo, looks like a cross between a Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher. So, we're calling him a Chiniature Pinscher.

Don't like that? How about a Miniature Chinscher? Ah, a rose by any other name. ...

One thing's for certain: our 4-year-old boy is super fun and playful, gets along with other dogs and would be an ideal dog for a first-time owner.

He loves long walks with his favorite person, zooms around the yard, and games of chase with his doggy friends.

Neo loves to snack on treats, then curl up in your lap for pets and cuddles.

If you have children or resident pets, be sure to speak with an adoption counselor to make sure he'd be a good match.

Neo is available for adoption at the Peninsula Humane Society's Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame.
