SHP, M-A roll to winning tuneups for the CCS playoffs

Sacred Heart Prep and Menlo-Atherton made successful tuneups for the Central Coast Section football playoffs, but Palo Alto and Menlo School did not, following losses on the final night of the regular season.

The Gators (7-3) rallied for a 27-15 nonleague victory over Menlo School (6-4) in the 13th annual Valparaiso Bowl while the Bears (6-4) topped host Woodside, 59-34.
