Saturday: Menlo Park Library book sale

 

The Friends of the Menlo Park Library will hold a one-day holiday book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the library, 800 Alma St. in Menlo Park.

One of four sales during the year, the event will feature holiday and children's books, plus a wide selection of offerings in travel, health, parenting, art and music, business, biography and cooking. In addition, there will be collectible books, DVDs and tapes, says Friends spokesman Tim Goode.

All proceeds go to library programs for children and adults, such as Project Read. "It's a winning formula," says Mr. Goode, and "a Menlo Park Library tradition for 63 years."

Mark your calendar for Saturday, 10am-2pm; this is a one-day event!
Books have been selected with an eye to gift-giving, great for family and friends. Funds raised by Friends of the Library Book Sales support Menlo Park Library events and programs.
