Art: 'Chasing Light and Reflection'

 

In an exhibit entitled "Chasing Light and Reflection," artist Alice Weil will show her oils and acrylics, inspired by the rolling hills and oaks of the Bay Area, during December at the Portola Art Gallery, located at the Allied Arts Guild, 75 Arbor Road in Menlo Park.

Ms. Weil said that she will donate 25 percent of her December sales to the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford, which provides housing for families of children with life-threatening illnesses receiving treatment at local hospitals

In addition, two of her paintings will be offered for silent auction at an open house on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the gallery.

The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
