Menlo, SHP boys head into first showdown after losses

The Menlo School and Sacred Heart Prep boys have staged quite a soccer rivalry since they began playing each other in 2009, even though the Gators have held the upper hand.

One team or the other usually has a say in who wins the West Bay Athletic League. That still may happen this season, but both teams are off to slow starts.

Harker stunned host Sacred Heart Prep, 2-1, while host King's Academy knocked off Menlo, 2-1.
