Get puzzled at jigsaw competition in Redwood City

 

Watch teams try to complete a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest during Jigsaw Java's National Puzzle Day Celebration and Competition in Redwood City on Saturday, Jan. 23.

The first-place winner will receive $500. Registration to compete is closed, but there is still room to watch the competition, enjoy other activities and demonstrations, including a wooden puzzle-cutting demonstration.

The puzzle competition, which will start at 10 a.m., will be held at Kainos Home & Training Center, 2761 Fair Oaks Ave.

Snacks will be available for purchase including yogurt, fruit, cookies and crackers, but guests should bring a lunch to enjoy.
