Driving alert: Expect traffic delays on Willow Road today

Drivers should expect traffic delays on Willow Road on Thursday, Jan. 28, due to traffic signal work at the Willow Road and Bayfront Expressway intersection.

The work will begin at 10 a.m. and is expected to take about four hours.

The Menlo Park Police Department said it will help with traffic control to minimize impact.

The traffic signal work is part of a traffic mitigation project funded by Facebook to add a right-turn lane from Willow Road toward the Dumbarton Bridge.

This headline would be news if it said -

"Expect NO traffic delays on Willow Road today"

The headline just states the day to day situation.
