Oaks finish strong in upset over Firestorm in GSAC hoops


Rosendo AmayaWood sank a pair of free throws to break a tie with 1:04 remaining and Kalen Camero hit a layup 12 seconds later to help give the host Menlo College men's basketball a 66-61 upset win over 10th ranked Arizona Christian in a Golden State Athletic Conference contest Saturday.

The Oaks (9-13, 3-6 GSAC) erased an eight-point deficit earlier in the second half and held a 53-47 advantage with 6:12 left following an Adam Griffin 3-pointer. Read the story here.
