Friends of Menlo Park Library seeks volunteers

 

The Friends of the Menlo Park Library is searching for volunteers who can commit three to four hours a week to support the organization's onsite bookstore and online sales.

According to volunteer Henry Lesser, volunteers turn about 200,000 donated books a year into dollars that support library programs and events.

"This is a perfect opportunity for booklovers to fulfill that New Year resolution to do rewarding community work," he said.

Hours are flexible. Volunteers will work at the Menlo Park Library at 800 Alma St. in Menlo Park.
