Despite high alert, Almanac area is incident-free on Super Bowl Sunday

Despite doubled patrol forces, Menlo Park's police department saw zero reported incidents or arrests related to the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 7, reported Nicole Acker, spokesperson for the Menlo Park police department.

There were no reported incidents in Atherton or noise complaints about the large fundraiser party held there.

Unincorporated county areas had no Super Bowl-related incidents reported either, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Neither the Menlo Park Fire Protection District nor the Woodside Fire Protection District had incidents to report.
