Hillary Clinton will be in Atherton Feb. 21

Event called a 'Conversation with Hillary for Young Leaders and Women in Tech'

February is proving to be a busy month for high-profile visitors to Atherton: the star-studded Super Bowl party of Feb. 6, a political fundraising visit from President Barack Obama on Feb. 11, and, on Feb. 21, a visit by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for a campaign fundraiser billed as a "Conversation with Hillary for Young Leaders and Women in Tech."

Revisions made last year to Atherton's special events permit process mean the hosts, not the taxpayers, are responsible for paying for special services police or other town departments provide for the events.

The event for Ms. Clinton will be at the home of Sukhinder Singh Cassidy, founder and CEO of Joyus, an online retailer.

An email invitation to the event says it will be "for a conversation on issues that women face in the Silicon Valley and business around the country."

Tickets range from $500 for those under 35 and $1,000 for those over (for the general reception) to $27,000 for hosts of the event.

Hillary says Bernie is doing an "artful smear," but a person's record is a person's record. Hillary thinks she deserves special treatment and the "artful smear" tactic is a false narrative and as such it is an "artful smear" from Hillary.

Please come and tell us why she is soooooo terrible (but tell us WHY, with facts, and why you think your conservative is better.)

And don't forget to complain about having prestigious visitors coming to the area bothers you; and show us the link to your complaint when Bush or Romney visited - we don't want your hypocrisy to show!

Go Bern! Go Hill! Keep talking facts and issues while the others participate in a circus.

Have a great day. y'all!
