Woodside church to provide baked goods from Woodside Bakery wholesale location

The Woodside Bakery & Cafe is gone -- a farewell party on Tuesday evening (March 15) observed the closing of the restaurant and bakery with a buffet dinner for the public -- but the baked goods will be back in Woodside after the bakery officially restarts, as a wholesale business, at its new location on Constitution Drive in Menlo Park.

The same muffins and croissants will be served periodically, starting this spring, in a corner of the courtyard of the Woodside Village Church to be referred to as The Village Hub, according to Ama Zenya, the pastor of the church.

The community gatherings are expected to include snacks from Roberts Market and freshly brewed coffee in the style of what was served for a time at Emily Joubert's garden center, a church statement says.

For more information or to volunteer in this initiative, contact Ms. Zenya at 650-851-1587 or write to her at pastor@wvchurch.org.
