Weekend: Menlo Park holds book sale

A two-day book sale of used books in generally good condition, organized by Menlo Park Friends of the Library, will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, and from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20.

The book sale will be set up in front of the Menlo Park Library and in the library's downstairs program room.

In general, paperbacks will sell for 50 cents and hardcovers for $1. DVDs, VHS tapes, and music CDs will also be sold.

On Sunday, visitors can fill a bag of books for $5.

All funds raised will support programs and events at the Menlo Park main library and the Belle Haven branch.
