Football running backs have the M-A boys right on track

 

Marquise Reid and Jordan Mims spent the fall season taking turns carrying the ball for the Menlo-Atherton football team. Now, the two are helping carry the Bears' track and field squad.

Both were busy on Saturday as the Menlo-Atherton boys won the team title with 85 points over runner-up Santa Teresa (81.5) at the annual Firebird Invitational at Fremont High in Sunnyvale.

Reid won the 200 in a meet record of 22.94. Mims and teammate Terrance Matthews-Murphy tied for second in the 100 (11.58) with Reid fourth in 11.61.
