Menlo grad Price runs second-fastest 400 in Duke history

 

After setting school records the previous weeks in the 100 and 200 meters, Duke sophomore Maddy Price turned her attention to her specialty for the annual Spec Towns Invitational track and field meet last weekend in Athens, Ga.

Price, who made her mark in the 400 during her prep days at Menlo School, made the most of her opportunity by finishing second in 53.70. The time was the second-fastest in Duke history.
