Menlo Park: Applewood 2-Go outlet closed

Applewood 2-Go, the to-go counter location of Applewood Pizza at 989 El Camino Real in Menlo Park, has closed.

The store's manager could not be reached for comment, despite numerous attempts. According to an employee at the sit-down Applewood Pizza site across the street, the location closed roughly four weeks ago.

The sit-down location at 1001 El Camino Real will continue to offer takeout and delivery pizzas, the employee said. The restaurant also sells a few Hungarian dishes.

Former Applewood locations in San Carlos and Los Altos are also closed, according to Yelp.
