Menlo School advances in CCS baseball with dramatic win

 

In a dramatic sixth inning, Menlo School scored the winner then held off Pacific Grove, 4-2, on Saturday to advance to the Central Coast Section Division II baseball semifinals.

Third-seeded Menlo (22-7) will face No. 15 Capuchino (16-14), which overturned No, 7 Burlingame, 2-1, in another quarterfinal, on Tuesday at San Jose Municipal Stadium at 4 p.m. A victory will return the Knights to San Jose Muni on Saturday for the section title. Read the story here.
