Scott Delucchi departs for Monterey SPCA post

Scott Delucchi, a former Menlo Park resident, has left his post as vice president of community relations for the Peninsula Humane Society to become chief executive officer of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for Monterey County.

Mr. Delucchi, who worked for the Peninsula Humane Society for 17 years, said it's hard to leave, but the new offer is "perfect for me and my family." His last day was June 17.

Working with the humane society staff, supporters and volunteers was "an amazing experience," he said.

Michele Moyer starts July 5 as the Peninsula Humane Society's communications manager.

Congratulations Scott. Good luck in Monterey. That is a great job. They were lucky to get an individual so well qualified. I am in San Diego now. My email address is tmack94402@yahoo.com Best regards, Tom Mack
