Atherton thefts: Unlocked pickup, bicycle and money from unlocked vehicle

Atherton police say that an unlocked white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with a white camper shell was stolen from a Lloyden Drive driveway sometime between 2 and 4:15 p.m. Friday afternoon, June 24. The keys were in the vehicle.

The theft follows closely after the report of two thefts on Douglas Way the night before. The Atherton Police Department said that sometime between 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23 and 6 a.m. Friday, June 24, a white cruiser bicycle was stolen from a driveway on Douglas Way and two unlocked vehicles in a garage where the door had been left open were rummaged through and cash and change taken from one vehicle.

Police say they have no suspects in any of the cases and request that anyone with information about these thefts, or video footage of the neighborhoods, call the Atherton Police Department at (650) 688-6500.
