Menlo club runner Iyer claims 3,000-meter national title

 

Menlo iGrehounds Nikitha Iyer, a senior at Harker, won the 17-18 women's 3,000-meter national championship Saturday in the USATF Junior Olympics at Sacramento State on Saturday.

Sarah Gayer, also from the iGreyhounds and a student at Mills, finished 10th in the race in a time of 10:42.31. Iyer's winning time was 10:05.08. Read the story here.
