It's on to the semis for American women in water polo

 

The U.S. Olympic women's water polo team advanced to its fifth consecutive Olympic semifinal round, beating Brazil, 13-3, on Monday in the quarterfinals at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium.

Stanford's Maggie Steffens, Mackenzie Fischer and Kiley Neushul each scored twice for the Americans (4-0, 38-2) while Cardinal grad Melissa Seidemann and Menlo Park resident KK Clark also scored.

Team USA meets Hungary in the semifinal on Wednesday.
