Prep roundup: Sacred Heart Prep's Choy serves up another win in tennis opener

 

Sacred Heart Prep junior Sara Choy won her 60th consecutive girls high school tennis match Tuesday as the Gators opened their season losing to host Cupertino, 5-2, in a nonleague match.

Choy, the two-time defending Central Coast Section singles champion, has yet to lose to a high school player. She earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the top of the ladder.

The No. 2 doubles team of Sarah McGrath and Natalie Rotenberg also scored for Sacred Heart Prep, which hosts Palo Alto at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
