Menlo School's Vandermeer a big hit in nonleague volleyball win

 

Mia Vandermeer recorded nine kills and had a hitting percentage of .533 to help the Menlo School girls' volleyball team beat host Homestead, 25-14, 25-20, 25-17 in non-league action Wednesday.

Sianna Houghton added seven kills for the Knights (7-3), who host Gunn at 6:45 p.m. Friday. Caroline Bradley and Selena Xu combined for 18 digs.
