Menlo College's McCarthy becomes school leader in scoring

 

Danielle McCarthy scored twice and became Menlo College's all-time scoring leader and the Oaks beat visiting Marymount, 4-1, in a nonconference soccer match Thursday.

McCarthy scored early and late to reach 29 goals in her career at Menlo (3-1-1). She's also the career leader in points. Jelissa Blanco added a goal for the Oaks, who host UC Santa Cruz next Thursday. A late own goal from Marymount made it 4-1. Read the story here.
