Atherton: It's a good weekend to leave your car at home

Two fund raising runs scheduled Saturday and Sunday mornings

This may be a good weekend to leave your car at home in Atherton, at least on Saturday and Sunday when two fund-raising "fun runs" will be held on the town's streets.

The Atherton Police Department says the race course is:

• eastbound on Camino Al Lago from Las Lomitas School

• eastbound on Park Lane from Camino Al Lago to Elena Avenue

• northbound on Elena Avenue

• eastbound on Elena Avenue to Isabella Avenue

• eastbound on Isabella Avenue

• southbound on Britton Avenue

• southbound on Emilie Avenue

The road will be closed along the race route from approximately 8:55 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Atherton police say the race course is:
