Halloween house in Menlo Park is quite a sight -- and fright

Menlo Park resident Dorrie Ericson said she has been decorating her house on Ravenswood Avenue near Marcussen Drive for Halloween and Christmas since she moved there in 2000.

For Halloween, she adds more spooky elements each year, she said.

"People stop to say thank you because it makes them smile," she told Almanac photographer Natalia Nazarova, who noticed the elaborately decorated house on Friday and took these pictures.
