Today: Atherton council and advisory committee meet on civic center plans

Advisory committee meets at 4:30 p.m.; joint council meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Atherton's City Council holds a special joint meeting with the town's Civic Center Advisory Committee today, Nov. 7, at 5:30 p.m. to review the energy-saving features of the new civic center, as well as the project's costs and library plans.

The special meeting will immediately follow a 4:30 p.m. meeting of the Civic Center Advisory Committee to review the civic center's lobby and council chambers design, as well as its landscape and solar installation plans.

Both meetings are in the town's council chambers at 94 Ashfield Road.
