Menlo Park's annual "State of the City" event will be held Thursday, Nov. 17, at Facebook's recently refurbished Building 23 at 300 Constitution Drive in Menlo Park.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and remarks are expected to start at 7 p.m.
Scheduled speakers are Menlo Park Mayor Rich Cline; Evelyn Stivers, executive director of the Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County; Mark Spencer, managing principal of W-Trans, a Santa Rosa-based traffic-engineering consulting firm; and Ted Lempert, a member of the Board of Trustees of the San Mateo County Board of Education.
People can take Facebook shuttles to the event from City Hall at 701 Laurel St. in the Menlo Park Civic Center. Shuttles are scheduled to leave at 5:30 and 6 p.m.
