Sacred Heart Prep wins girls' basketball tournament

 

Senior Natalie Zimits scored 16 points and freshman Charlotte Levison added 12 in leading the Sacred Heart Prep girls' basketball team to a 56-27 victory over Westmoor in the championship game of The King's Academy tournament in Sunnyvale on Saturday.

Levison, who scored 22 points in Friday's win over San Mateo and averaged 14 points a game, was named the tournament MVP and Zimits joined her on the all-tournament team.

The Gators (4-1), defending Central Coast Section Division IV champions, host the Bearcats on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
