Prep report: Schroeder passes a hurdle en route to personal record

 

Menlo-Atherton’s Charlotte Schroeder won the 300 hurdles with a time of 46.96 Saturday at the Serra Top 7 meet.

Schroeder’s time, a personal-best, moves her into sixth place on the Central Coast Section list.

Menlo School’s Electa Narasin placed second in a personal-best 47.77.

Menlo School sophomore Alexandra Chan won the 100 hurdles in 16.23, quite a bit off her best time of the season (15.39). A head wind Saturday made it difficult to register fast sprint times.
