April 21-24: Glenwood Ave. rail crossing closed for maintenance

Caltrain says the rail crossing at Glenwood Avenue in Menlo Park will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, April 21, until 4 a.m. Monday, April 24, for track maintenance work.

Cars, pedestrians and cyclists will have to follow marked detours during the closure, according to Caltrain spokeswoman Elizabeth Renteria.

People living near the tracks may hear some construction noise.

The tracks will be resurfaced and realigned, and new pavement and striping will be added, she said, to make the crossing safer and smoother.

For more information, call the Construction Outreach Hotline at (650) 508-7726 or visit [www.caltrain.com/constructionnotice construction notice Caltrain's webpage.
